comedy x non profit
an online short comedy group hub devoted to comedic storytelling and talent development brought to life by Kai borne out of the desire to find humor in a world that feels out of control. Good Short, Old Chap is funed in part by SLUGMOTHER COLLECTIVE, a nonprofit shop for people who are chronically online, half-cynical, and still secretly hopeful.
The name started as a joke—something you’d mutter in a bad British accent after losing a ping pong match, or after being publicly humiliated in the group chat. But it stuck, because that’s what we are: a collective that laughs at failure, bad timing, and the bizarre dignity of trying again. “Good Sport, Old Chap” is both a wink and a dare.

It’s a reminder to be gracious when life hands you the L, and to find comedy in the absurd politeness we all fake while everything’s collapsing behind the curtain.
Slugmother Collective is a nonprofit shop for fans of vintage art, ethical humor, and well-designed giving.
Every purchase gives back: 50% goes to verified charities like The Trevor Project, ACLU, and UNICEF. The other 50% funds the Good Sport, Old Chap comedy collective, which pays and uplifts emerging artists.
Good Sport, Old Chap is a registered nonprofit. That means your purchase of eligible products is considered a charitable contribution. You’ll receive an itemized receipt after checkout with details for tax reporting.
We work with trusted, eco-conscious print partners like Printify, Printful, Gelato, and Gooten to ensure low waste, high quality, fast fulfillment, and keeping the vibe high.
